It is rightfully, along with its two imposing fortresses (Old and New), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located within it are also the island's most important attractions, such as - among others - the Palace of St. Michael and St. George, which houses the Museum of Asian Art, the renovated Archaeological Museum of Corfu and Spianada, the largest square in the Balkans.

Explore a majestic 19th-century palace

One of the island's most precious architectural treasures is just a 15-minute drive from the Hidden Cove Luxury Residence. The palace of Mon Repos, built by the English Commissioner of the Ionian Islands Frederic Adam in 1831, now houses the Archaeological Museum of Paleopolis with findings from the excavations in the surrounding area. A verdant estate that covers a total of 258 acres includes an impressive garden with more than 2,000 species of plants and is located within the area covered by the archaeological site of Paleopolis.
